Scope: Rancho California Water District, herein referred to as the “District,” is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of six (6) 24-inch butterfly valves.
These valves will be used as part of an upcoming valve replacement project within the District’s potable water distribution system. The new butterfly valves are intended to replace aging or deficient valves to improve system reliability, operational control, and long-term maintainability. The valves will be installed at existing pipeline locations and must be compatible with the District’s infrastructure, pressure requirements, and applicable industry standards.
The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to procure the specified butterfly valves through a competitive bidding process from a qualified supplier capable of meeting the District’s technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements. Timely procurement of these valves is critical to support scheduled construction activities, reduce the risk of service disruptions, and ensure the continued safe and reliable delivery of potable water to the District’s customers.
