Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: F7U3MB7115AW02 Posted Date: June 23, 2017 Classification Code: Z- Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Real Property Set-Aside: Small Business NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -The Maryland Air National Guard base located on 2701 Eastern Blvd Middle River Maryland 21220, intends to issue a solicitation with a requirement to completely remove by demolition the exterior insulated metal wall panel system of the Engine I & R Facility, building 3010, and replace through installation of a 2�" Centria Versawall Insulated Metal Panel System or approved equal product, remove and reinstall electric components, and remove and reinstall cameras. This solicitation will be set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System code applicable to this notice is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5 million. The period of performance will be from September 15, 2017 to September 30, 2017. These dates are subject to change. All offerors are required to check this website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. The Government will post this synopsis, the solicitation, and all subsequent amendments through the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site www.fbo.gov. It is the Offeror's sole responsibility to obtain this solicitation and any subsequent amendments through this website. FAR Part 15 and all associated supplements will be used for the acquisition process. The project will be set aside for Total Small Business, and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price construction contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204 (c), the disclosure of magnitude range for this project of is between $100,000 -$250,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 August 2017. The solicitation will be issued free of charge and available electronically. Paper copies of the solicitation, plans, and specifications will not be provided. It is the offeror's sole responsibility to ensure they have obtained all solicitation documents and any subsequent amendments, if any. The Maryland Air National Guard will be conducting a site visit at the Civil Engineering (CE) building on or about 4 September 2017 to provide detailed information concerning the requirements for contractors interested in submitting proposals.
