The contract calls for the procurement of 11 units of a specific valve linear direct replacement part, identified by NSN 7H-4820-015672305 and TDP Version 005, with delivery terms FOB origin. The approved and sole source supplier for this part is Sargent Aerospace, as the government neither owns the data rights for this part nor finds it economical to acquire or reverse engineer the required technical data. The acquisition will proceed under a sole-source authority (FAR 6.302-1), with the government reserving the right to consider any expressions of interest or capabilities from other parties within a designated response period, although the intention is not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may obtain related military and federal documentation through established DoD resources online or by contacting DODSSP, following proper registration and ordering procedures. The solicitation is managed by the Defense Logistics Agency at Mechanicsburg, PA, with a response deadline set for July 13, 2026. Award of the contract is contingent upon the offeror meeting specific qualification requirements at the time of award, as set forth in FAR clause 52.209-1. The government has determined that acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 for commercial items do not apply in this case, but still invites commercial item-related input within 15 days of the notice. For further details, contact can be made directly with the designated point of contact, Austin Shatto, via email. Overall, this contract is oriented toward a non-competitive supply of a specialized aerospace part critical to military needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory qualification and procurement guidelines.
