The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) seeks Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) Partners that possess expertise, capabilities, facilities, and experience in the fields of sound capturing, audio analysis and engineering, and human audio perception. This notice serves as a sources sought synopsis seeking information from companies capable of providing expertise related to the development of dynamic audio filters. Any company that believes it has the ability to perform research or development related to the development of dynamic audio filters can identify its capabilities by submitting the information to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dan Freeman, Code W15, 17214 Avenue B Building 1500 Rm A102B, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The information submitted should include a capabilities statement, management chart, breakdown of personnel and facilities available to be utilized, and relevant past work in similar areas. Responses are requested by 28 June, 2012. After reviewing the responses, NSWCDD may request a meeting or teleconference with responding companies to gain further insight into their capabilities. NSWCDD is not obligated to hold these meetings with any or all respondents. If NSWCDD decides to meet with a company, it will only meet with those that responded to this notice. NSWCDD will not reimburse costs for participation in these meetings or teleconferences. NSWCDD does not intend to pay for the information received. This is neither a Request for Proposals nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of selecting a CRADA Partner having the ability and capability to Partner with NSWCDD.
