70 -- Monitor Displays and Mounting Arms

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI intends to acquire the following items on a sole source basis: Aydin Model 4250W1B-33B-310 AMLCD Monitor, qty 10, Aydin Model 4420W1B-33B-300 AMLCD Monitor, qty 2, Desk Top Stand Ergotron, qty 7, Ergotron Mounting Arm for item 0001, qty 5, Ergotron Mounting Arm for item 0002, qty 2. This is a sole source procurement with Aydin Displays of Birdsboro, PA. The displays from Aydin are currently integrated into the Submarine Multi-Mission Team Trainer (SMMTT) trainer program and use of other hardware will result in required changes to existing display software. The trainer schedule does not allow enough time to test and integrate other hardware into the system. A solicitation will not be posted.
