The U. S. Government Printing Office intends on awarding a sole source contract to Luminescence for 480 rolls of sewing thread, st/41 invivible red, which is used in the production of U. S. Passports. This item is a qualified product and any new products would have to be approved prior to being added to the qualified products list. If interested, please contact the Contracting Officer by email or fax. This notice is neither a request for proposal not a solicitation. No formal solicitation package is available. Based on the requirements the Government intends to negotiate with one source. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis, based upon receipt of the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
