The proposed contract requires manual brushing operations for approximately 278.1 hectares across two blocks in the Fort St. John Timber Supply Area.The objective of this project is to reduce competition from broadleaf vegetation, promoting the healthy growth and development of crop trees. Brushing activities will focus on removing or controlling competing shrubs, herbs, and non crop trees species that may impede the establishment and growth of desired tree species. These blocks are being brushed to achieve conifer release towards free growing obligations.The successful contractor will be responsible for all brushing operations, including quality control and performance measurements. Access to work areas will be via truck, ATV, or walk-inContractors must follow all relevant safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and best practices for vegetation management in forestry operations. The daily production target and specific details will be provided in the full contract documentation. Refer to Schedule C, for details.
