C-17 TRAINING SYSTEM (TS) INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT: The overall C-17 TS Sustainment contract will provide aircrew instruction (ATS only), courseware, Aircrew Training System (ATS) & Maintenance Training System (MTS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), concurrency and obsolescence modifications, and training flights to produce certified aircrew members. For additional details about the C-17 TS Program see notice C17TS-SSS-19-0001, Sources Sought Synopsis, C-17 Training System Contractor Logistics Support, Archived 9 October 2019. The C-17 Training System (TS) Program will be conducting an industry day at the annual Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL, during the week of 2 December 2019. For more information about I/ITSEC, please visit https://www.iitsec.org. The C-17 TS has scheduled an Industry Day presentation for Wednesday, 4 December 2019, from 4:00 - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), in Conference Room S230C. Following the Wednesday Industry Day presentation, one-on-one meetings with interested firms will be held on Thursday, 5 December 2019, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with a break from noon to 1:00 PM for lunch. The specific location of the one-on-one sessions is TBD, but is expected to be in a 20 x 20 conference room on the convention floor. These sessions will be held between the Government and interested firms that has requested a meeting in response to this notice on a first come, first served basis. Interested firms will be allotted 55 minutes (starting every hour on the hour) for discussion and questions. Due to limitations on space, attendance at one-on-one meeting sessions will be limited to no more than three (3) representatives of an interested firm. To secure a time slot for a one-on-one session, please respond to this notice not later than Tuesday, 5 November 2019, by emailing your requested time slot to AFLCMC.WNS.RFI_RESPONSE@us.af.mil. Interested firms requesting a one-on-one session should submit questions and discussion points in advance of industry day, to the e-mail address above, no later than Friday, 15 November 2019.
