The City of Medicine Hat is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced service providers to deliver an independent, secure, and confidential whistleblower hotline service in support of Policy No. 8046 (Whistleblower Policy). The purpose of this initiative is to provide a trusted reporting mechanism that enables employees, contractors, suppliers, and members of the public to report suspected wrongdoing, unethical conduct, or violations of City policies and applicable legislation without fear of retaliation. This service supports transparency, accountability, and ethical governance by ensuring disclosures are received, documented, and communicated in a fair, consistent, confidential, and independent manner, in accordance with Council direction. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions annually for an additional four (4) years.
