This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Shrub Bed Seasonal Maintenance, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The City requires the provision of Shrub Bed Maintenance for identified roadway medians, entrance beds, neighbourhood and city parks, and other city facilities. The proponent will ensure all mulched areas and shrub beds are maintained in accordance with sound horticultural practices with a finished product that is neat, clean, free of weeds and maintained in a healthy and attractive manner. The City has categorized the shrub beds into the following five (5) categories: 1. Eight (8) lane roadways 2. Four (4) lane roadways 3. Entrance beds 4. Neighbourhoods, parks, and stormwater management facilities (SWMF) 5. City facilities
