All bidders can contact the Hegins-Hubley Authority to visit the site. The Authority contact is Demetrius Kasmari (Authority Manager), and the telephone number is 570.682.3228. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 10% Maintenance Bond and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The Hegins-Hubley Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such award as appears most advantageous to the Authority. Bids are invited from qualified bidders. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, 43 P.S. §§ 165-1 et seq., and the requirements of the COVID-19 ARPA PA Small Water and Sewer grant. All bidders must comply with the Non-discrimination/sexual harassment provisions of the contract and name the Commonwealth Authority as Additionally Insured.
