The County of Newell (“County”) is a rural municipality located in southeastern Alberta. The County is seeking a qualified Consultant to provide professional engineering services, under a standing offer agreement, for the term of March 12, 2026 to December 31, 2028 inclusive. There will be an option to extend this contract with the mutual agreement of both parties. Services to be provided may include, but not limited to: assessment, investigation, design, tendering, recommending, grant application support, supervision of work, inspecting, and other engineering related tasks as they relate to paved highways in the County of Newell. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for engineering firms, with the appropriate qualification and experience, to prepare and submit a formal response to this request in accordance with the requirements outlined within. Submitted information will be reviewed by the County and evaluated to select a firm to assist the County in managing hamlet infrastructure within the region. This RFP is issued in accordange with applicable legislation and trade agreements governing public procurement in Alberta, Canada.
