AI Contract Overview
The United States Space Force’s Space Systems Command is seeking industry partners to provide interim contractor support for the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability, a globally distributed, mission-critical radar network tasked with maintaining continuous space domain awareness in contested environments. The interim phase aims to establish sustainable maintenance, logistics, and supply chain operations across remote sites, ensuring system availability and strict compliance with Department of War cybersecurity standards at Impact Level 5, while simultaneously preparing for a transition to long-term contractor logistics support. Contractors must demonstrate proven capability in managing both on-site and depot-level maintenance under host-nation regulations, operating a Contractor-Inventory Control Point with full accountability via Scope IMS to meet Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation requirements, and executing cadence-driven software updates and vulnerability remediation to maintain Authority to Operate under the Risk Management Framework. The industry day, scheduled for July 20 and 21, 2026, in Colorado Springs with a possible third day on July 22, will offer companies the opportunity to engage directly with the program team and submit tailored proposals for a draft Performance Work Statement. Attendance is strictly limited to two representatives per company, and prior registration with full personal identification details is mandatory by July 8, 2026, to comply with security protocols. Companies must also submit presentation materials in PowerPoint or Adobe format by the same deadline to the designated mailbox. The solicitation number is FA882026PKLBAS_2, with a NAICS code of 518210, and the requirement targets organizations with expertise in sustaining global, high-visibility defense infrastructure under stringent audit, cybersecurity, and property accountability standards. Failure to meet the submission and attendance deadlines will result in disqualification from participation.

Full Description
Introduction
The United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC), System Delta (SYD 85) is hosting an Industry Day to discuss the upcoming Interim Contractor Support (ICS) requirements for the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC). DARC is a critical, multi-site global radar network designed to provide continuous, 24/7 space domain awareness in contested environments. The Government’s intent during the ICS period is to secure robust, cadence-based sustainment, maintenance, and logistics support while simultaneously laying the groundwork for a seamless transition to long-term Contractor Logistics Support (CLS). We are seeking industry partners with proven expertise in operating and sustaining geographically dispersed mission-critical infrastructure, executing complex supply chain management under strict Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) standards, and maintaining stringent Department of War (DoW) cybersecurity standards within an Impact Level 5 (IL5) boundary.
Problem Set
Sustaining the DARC enterprise during the ICS period presents a highly complex, multi-tiered logistical and operational challenge. The successful contractor must simultaneously manage Level 1 (on-site) and Level 2 (Depot-Level) maintenance across remote, global sites while operating within strict host-nation environmental, security, and power connection regulations. Furthermore, the contractor must establish a fully functional Contractor-Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) to manage peculiar spares and support equipment, utilizing Scope IMS (Scope Inventory Management System) to ensure 100% accountability and FIAR compliance in the Government's Accountable Property System of Record (APSR). Compounding these logistical hurdles is the requirement to maintain strict system availability (Ao) and cybersecurity compliance Authority to Operate / Risk Management Framework (ATO/RMF) through cadence-managed software version releases, continuous vulnerability remediation, and seamless transition of Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) to Government Furnished Property (GFP). The Government is challenging industry to present agile, data-driven sustainment strategies that resolve these global logistical bottlenecks, minimize peculiar support equipment, and ultimately deliver draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) frameworks that enable a risk-free transition to steady-state CLS.
