Design-Build Public Works Equipment Storage Building

The City of Melfort is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of a new Public Works Equipment Storage Building at its Public Works Compound located at 202 Division Street West in Melfort, Saskatchewan. The project requires a qualified Design-Build team to deliver full-service solutions including detailed design, professional engineering services, construction drawings, permitting, and complete construction of a facility that must be insulated, heated, and electrified to accommodate large municipal equipment. The existing 40 ft. x 80 ft. concrete slab on site is to be evaluated for potential reuse, and the successful proponent must assess its structural suitability as part of the project scope. Late submissions will not be considered, and only responses containing all required documentation as outlined in the RFP will be evaluated. A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST to assist proposers in understanding the site conditions. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM CST. The successful proponent will be required to execute a CCDC 14 – Design-Build Stipulated Price Contract, ensuring a fixed-price delivery model.
