The Town of Carrot River is inviting bids for 1,000 Yards of Street Grade Gravel delivered to the Town yard located at 360 Birch Road. Delivery will be required in summer 2026 (prior to September 14, 2026) and exact dates for the successful bidder will be coordinated with Town staff. Interested parties are invited to submit sealed documents marked “Gravel Tender” that will be accepted by the undersigned until 4:30 pm Friday, June 12, 2026. The document should include: price per yard the Town will pay on or before September 30, 2026 promised by delivery date sample of street grade gravel supplied (picture or proof of sample test preferred)
The Town of Carrot River reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders received. All tenders will be evaluated on the following criteria with the associated weight assigned to each criterion: Price weight 50%, the lowest price will be assigned 10 points, each other price will be assigned points based on the lowest price, e.g.) low bid $10 per yard received 10/10 or 100% or 10, $15 bid received 10/15 or 67% or 6.7 Sample quality 30% (10 superior quality, 8 good quality, 6 acceptable quality, 4 substandard quality, 2 unacceptable quality) Delivery Date 20% (10 optimum delivery date, 8 preferred but not optimum, 6 acceptable, 4 not in window but acceptable, 2 outside of preferred delivery window) For more information, contact Dawson Irvine, Town Foreman at (306) 401-7451.
