This announcement constitutes public Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract to RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc., 103 Innovation Soulevard, P.O. Box 906, State College, PA, 16804-0906. The 49th Contracting Squadron at Holloman AFB, NM 88330 and the 46th Test Squadron intend to award a sole source, firm-fixed price award to RDT Embedded Technologies, Inc. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). Interested persons may respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the hardware and software system currently in place at the 746th Test Group. To award to any company other than RTD Embedded Technologies, Inc . would result in unacceptable delay and duplication of costs to the government. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334111 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement. Each quotation shall state that proposed unit prices will remain in effect for at least 60 calendar days after date of proposal receipt.
