Failure to comply with BC Bid requirements is at the supplier’s own risk and BC Hydro does not assume any responsibility for the consequences of such non-compliance, including the supplier’s inability to submit a response to this or any other BC Hydro opportunity. *** Opportunity Details ***BC Hydro, in partnership with the Province of British Columbia, is advancing its energy efficiency and electrification mandate through a new no-cost Home Upgrade Offer for income-qualified residents living in non-social-housing multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs) across British Columbia. Through a competitive procurement process (RFP 22119), BC Hydro intends to engage one or more qualified Product Delivery Agent(s) (PDAs) to provide end-to-end program delivery, including: conducting home energy assessments, providing customer education and support, and supplying and installing air-source heat pumps and related energy efficiency upgrades. The Offer is intended to improve year-round comfort, increase household energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support workforce development across the province. This initiative also advances BC Hydro’s energy equity and accessibility objectives by reducing affordability, availability, and awareness barriers for eligible customers and renters, while ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and high-quality customer experience. Approval of this sourcing strategy authorizes the issuance of the RFP and subsequent contract award(s) to PDA(s) capable of delivering consistent, high-quality implementation province-wideThe Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (3) years, which may be extended for up to (5) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (8) years.This procurement may involve negotiation.This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.All responses should be in English.
