Through a competitive procurement process (RFP 22119), BC Hydro intends to engage one or more qualified Product Delivery Agent(s) (PDAs) to provide end-to-end program delivery, including: conducting home energy assessments, providing customer education and support, and supplying and installing air-source heat pumps and related energy efficiency upgrades. The Offer is intended to improve year-round comfort, increase household energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support workforce development across the province. This initiative also advances BC Hydro’s energy equity and accessibility objectives by reducing affordability, availability, and awareness barriers for eligible customers and renters, while ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and high-quality customer experience. Approval of this sourcing strategy authorizes the issuance of the RFP and subsequent contract award(s) to PDA(s) capable of delivering consistent, high-quality implementation province-wideThe Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (3) years, which may be extended for up to (5) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (8) years.This procurement may involve negotiation.This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.All responses should be in English.
