This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NOI9039 and the solicitation is being issued as Notice of Intent on a sole basis from Park Bio Services LLC. Thru market research this is the only company (Park Bio Services) that can build the isolators required for NIH project. Other sources were not able to provide isolators of the appropriate size. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by this agency. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 423450 and the small business size standard is 100. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases intends to procure the following scientific equipment from Park Bio Service: (a) 6-8 Cage Isolator, Dimensions:11.5� X 7.5� X 5� -Qty 12 each; (b) Hydraulic Table (26�-38� Height) �Qty 6 each; (c) Battery Backup & 4 Hr. Extension Pack-Qty 6 each. This is a firm fixed-price contract and the FOB term is Origin and Payment Net 30 days.
