Potential vendors must have the resources to handle all aspects of manufacturing, including procurement of components, inspection, testing, packaging, shipping, and supply chain management. The contract anticipates an estimated annual quantity of 80 units, and vendors should be able to manage logistics, production forecasting, and address issues related to diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages.
