The Iowa National Guard has completed the Phase One source selection process of the two-phase design build selection procedures authorized by FAR 36.3 for the design and construction (design-build) of Project Number VSSB099014, Title: National Guard Readiness Center-Davenport, Iowa. The Iowa National Guard intends to issue the Phase Two Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed-price, contract under solicitation number is W912LP-17-R-0001. The Phase Two solicitation will only be offered to those contractors selected from the Phase One competition. The following contractors were selected in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Phase One solicitation: Opus Design Build, LLC, 10350 Bren RD W, Minnetonka, MN 55343-9014;L.S. Black Constructors, Inc, 1959 loan Place-Suite 220, Saint Paul, MN 55117; Russell Construction Co. Inc, 4600 E. 53rd Street, Davenport, IA 52807-3479. The Phase Two solicitation, to include the Project Requirements Manual (PRM) is being issued on 5 June 2017. The closing date for the Phase two solicitation will be 21 July 2017 at 1:00 PM local time (CDST). Potential subcontractors interested in this project may contact the above-referenced contractors for further information. The solicitation will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at https://www.fbo.gov. The Projects Requirements Manual will only be issued via CD/DVD to only those firms listed above, who were selected from the Phase One process to participate in Phase Two. Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to https://www.fbo.gov for electronic downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Websites are occasionally inaccessible for various reasons. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the documents posted on the referenced web pages.
