The procurement covers nine distinct pump categories, including vertical turbine, horizontal split case, submersible, centrifugal, vertical chopper, progressing cavity, piston-type positive displacement, Watson Marlow, and vacuum and hydraulic pumps. Interested bidders must first qualify through a prequalification phase demonstrating proficiency in comprehensive pump services encompassing procurement, disassembly, detailed inspection, repair according to OEM standards, reassembly, startup, and transportation logistics. Strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and manufacturer safety guidelines, is mandatory to protect personnel and City assets during service delivery. The period of performance spans from purchase order issuance through successful installation and a minimum of seven consecutive days of uninterrupted pump operation. Services will be carried out at multiple City facilities in Georgia. Vendors must ensure all repaired or replaced parts are new, unused, and manufacturer-certified originals or approved equivalents. Detailed reporting is required, including photographs, failure analyses, and triplicate documentation of inspections and tests. The contract allows for an optional multi-year purchase arrangement for up to three years. Packaging and shipping must follow commercial best practices to ensure safe transit with clear marking of City purchase order information. Warranty coverage is one year or the manufacturer's standard, whichever is longer. Subcontractors require prior City approval and must comply with required immigration-related employment forms. Though the solicitation lacks a pricing estimate and comprehensive federal contract clauses, it emphasizes experienced, certified personnel, safety compliance, OEM standards, and thorough documentation to maintain reliable pump operations essential for the City's infrastructure.
