Regina General & Pasqua Hospitals Regina, SK Electrical Equipment Prepurchase -Vendor Selection

The Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital contain aging infrastructure related to their electrical main services and other major electrical infrastructure within the hospitals. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (the ‘SHA’) intends to purchase new electrical equipment in a pre-purchase fashion, which is to be novated into an installing contractor’s contract at a later date. Additional InformationRefer to attached equipment specifications and drawings in Appendix E – Supporting Drawings and Specifications OTHER FORCES The successful Equipment Vendor will be required to coordinate with multiple contractors in order to secure successful delivery and installation of the equipment. These contractors will be procured at a later date, with the Equipment Vendor’s Pre-Purchase contract being novated into this newer contractor’s contract. An example novation agreement has been attached in ‘Schedule D’ for information. The Electrical Infrastructure Renewal Project’s scope includes the use of a third-party commissioning agent. The Equipment Vendor will be expected to fulfill the requirements and specifications set out by this agent in order for a successful project delivery.
