The City of Warman is seeking proposals from qualified public accounting firms to provide annual external audit services for a five-year term covering the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026 through December 31, 2030. The successful proponent will be responsible for conducting the City's annual financial statement audit in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) standards and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), preparing the annual financial statements, completing the required Municipal Annual Expenditure Review (MAER) audit report, providing recommendations on internal controls, and presenting the audited financial statements to City Council. The City also requests hourly rates for any additional audit or consulting services that may be required during the contract term.
