The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is initiating the process of physically returning contractors to its facilities and worksites nationwide, guided by health and safety protocols consistent with CDC guidance and applicable state and local regulations. These measures will impact all contractors performing work on EPA premises. Contractors will be informed by their contracting officer (CO) or contracting officer’s representative (COR) regarding the specific processes and safety protocols relevant to their assigned facility or worksite. Contractors with questions about the timing of their return or the continuation of work flexibilities such as telework should direct their concerns to their CO, who will coordinate with the COR to resolve issues within the terms of the contract. The communication emphasizes adherence to established contractual conditions while ensuring a safe and compliant return to onsite work. This initiative reflects the EPA Office of Acquisition Solutions' commitment to advancing the Agency’s mission through careful acquisition and operational management.
