1.1 GENERALINFORMATION: The Texas StateUniversity System (TSUS or Owner) on behalf of itself and its MemberInstitution is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (Qualifications) for theselection of a Surveyor(s) to provide Indefinite Delivery-IndefiniteQuantity (IDIQ) Land Surveying services for planning, design, renovationand construction of facilities for TSUS and its Member Institutions, throughout Texas (TSUS; Institution, or Institutions),on an hourly fee or lump sum basis as needed by TSUS or its Institutions. Respondentsshall be duly licensed or registered by the Texas Board of ProfessionalEngineers and Land Surveyors pursuant to Section 1071.002 of the TexasOccupations Code and able to provide professional land surveying services forthe projects designated by TSUS or its Institutions through written Task Orders, and shallperform its services by providing all necessary supervision, labor, materials,equipment, and supplies. The services performed will be at the direction of andon an as needed basis for TSUS or its Institutions. Anticipated servicesinclude those summarized under Paragraph 2.1. Other related, but not specifically named services, may berequested which are beneficial to TSUS or its Institutions in the delivery ofor maintenance of facilities. The Surveyor will render these services to TSUSor its Institutions as needed, with no minimum or maximum amount of services specified.In particular, the Surveyor must be prepared to assign at least one person withsignificant related experience to be available as the point of contact for alloversight efforts at TSUS or its Institutions. An agreement with the selected Surveyor(s)will be issued as an indefinite quantity contract with a 3-year initial termand an option for the Owner to extend the agreement for two (2) additional 1-yearterms. The total value of the agreement will not exceed Five Hundred Thousand Dollars($500,000) for the total term of the agreement, including all extensions. However, the Ownerreserves the right to increase this limit. This solicitation sets forth theterms, conditions, and requirements for prospective Land Surveying firms to beconsidered for this work. (ProspectiveSurveyors are hereinafter referred to as Respondents).
