Scope: The District is seeking a general contractor with significant experience with the Division of the State Architect (“DSA”) related to their regulatory oversight, plan approvals, and inspection of educational facilities concerning design bid build construction for the “Library Swing Space Project’ located at 5885 Haven Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737. The work to be performed, is a Tenant Improvement “TI” project in which the existing Library building is to be utilized as swing space, requiring change of occupancy from Library (A3) to Interim Instructional and Administrative Space (B) which entails the removal and/or reconfiguration of some non-load bearing partitions, the redistribution of HVAC ducts and electrical technology, Fire/Life Safety Infrastructure and Fixtures. New roof mounted HVAC equipment. No changes to structural framing systems and/or materials.
