These actions are designed to align local land use policies with state housing goals and facilitate the development of new housing units to meet regional needs. The proposed amendments are part of a broader implementation strategy that will reshape land use patterns and zoning regulations to support affordable and workforce housing. The project is being led by the Community Development Department, with Joshua E. Mann serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries. The initiative is tied to formal planning processes that require public review and regulatory approvals, with the forecast posted in June 2026 signaling upcoming opportunities for engagement and potential contract awards related to implementation support or technical assistance.
