Rigging Boards

This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposal. This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. Interested parties of any size may submit a response to this notice. Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) located in Washington, DC is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing rigging boards. The rigging boards must meet the BEP performance and acceptance requirements as stated in the attached document entitled, BEP Specification for Paperboard: Rigging Board (Rotary Currency Press). INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, ALL applicable NAICS codes, business size (i.e., small/large), company's socioeconomics (i.e., woman-owned, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.) and DUNS Number. 2. A detailed narrative of your firm's capability to provide rigging boards that meet the performance and acceptance requirements. 3. A statement that addresses the rigging boards place of manufacture. Responses shall be emailed to gladys.wilks@bep.gov. Telephone responses will NOT be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 12 January 2015, 5:00p.m. (EST). AT THIS TIME NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. (DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION). A FUTURE NOTICE MAY BE POSTED IF A SOLICITATION IS RELEASED.
