AI Contract Overview
The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential suppliers capable of supporting an indefinite quantity contract for the procurement of an oxygen regulator, specifically NSN 1660-009271996. This item requires qualification under QPL-7605, with AVOX SYSTEM currently the approved source. This effort aims to gather information on organizations with the resources and capacity to meet the contract requirements, including technical capability, financial strength, and project management proficiency, in order to inform the government's procurement strategy. Respondents are encouraged to submit tailored capability statements, organizational details, and information on any subcontracting or teaming arrangements if applicable. This notice is not a solicitation or request for proposals, and responding is voluntary with no associated cost obligations by the government. The agency will evaluate submissions to assess the ability of interested parties to deliver services aligned with the contract's scope, potentially leading to a small business set-aside or full and open competition with multiple awards. Interested organizations should submit their responses by May 21, 2026, via email to the designated point of contact, Thuy Ho. Companies seeking approval as an authorized source must apply through the Source Approval Request Program. The market research results will influence the procurement method and source qualification for this defense logistics requirement.
