The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice to identify organizations capable of supporting the requirement for the aircraft cockpit light component identified by NSN 6220-003499294. The contract resulting from this effort will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract, requiring products from a Component Qualified Products List (QPL) or Qualified Manufacturers List (QML), with Soderberg Manufacturing currently listed as the approved source under QPL-6484. The market research aims to assess potential suppliers' ability to deliver services in line with the scope, scale, and stringent requirements of this effort, including financial, technical, and project management capabilities, and will help determine the procurement strategy, which could include full and open competition or small business set-asides, and potentially multiple awards. Interested parties are invited to submit detailed capability statements and organizational information by June 8, 2026, to demonstrate their qualifications. Submissions should include company details, staff and organizational capabilities, and descriptions of any planned subcontracting or teaming arrangements. The agency will not accept telephone inquiries or provide feedback on submissions. Companies interested in becoming approved sources for this item must submit an application package through the appropriate Source Approval Request Program. This proactive market research request is purely voluntary, with no solicitation yet issued, and does not obligate the government financially. The contracting office is located in Richmond, Virginia, under the Department of Defense’s DLA Aviation.
