This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation (the “Corporation”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the supply and delivery of Calcium Thiosulphate 30% (“Calcium Thiosulphate 30%”) to the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (the “Plant”), as further described in the ITT Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The Plant is located approximately thirty kilometers northeast of the City of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Plant was commissioned in 1955 and provides safe, high quality drinking water to approximately 260,000 customers, include the Cities of Moose Jaw and Regina, SaskWater, and the Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. The Plant uses Calcium Thiosulphate 30% as a disinfectant in the water treatment process at a consumption rate of approximately 45,000 kgs per year.
