City of Prince George (the “City”) invites bids from qualified Contractors who can demonstrate the appropriate experience, knowledge and availability needed for the installation of two (2) owner-supplied Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) within existing electrical cabinets. The Work will include all required modifications to the existing cabinets to accommodate the new VFDs, as well as the supply and installation of all associated wiring and electrical connections. In addition, the Work includes the provisional supply and installation of an Active Harmonic Filter to ensure power quality and system reliability, subject to a harmonic study. The Contractor will be responsible for delivering a fully integrated and operational system in compliance with all applicable standards and specifications.This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Bidders offering the lowest bid(s), or to the creation of a Contract without negotiations.
