Thorhild County - Request for Proposal - Gravel Source Assessment Services

Thorhild County is seeking a qualified land consultant to assess multiple greenfield gravel sources and provide detailed valuations to determine the most cost-effective option for long-term municipal use. The consultant must evaluate geological, logistical, environmental, and economic factors across all proposed sites to recommend the source offering the optimal balance of accessibility, resource volume, extraction feasibility, and overall value to the County. Beyond identifying the preferred location, the consultant is expected to propose alternative strategies for ensuring sustainable gravel supply over time, considering regional resource constraints and future infrastructure demands. Once the best source is selected, the consultant will take full responsibility for managing the subsequent investigation and exploration phase, including fieldwork, sampling, data collection, and reporting to confirm viability and prepare for potential development.
