The agency procures specialized trade services to support its operational needs, primarily contracting for specialty construction, industrial equipment maintenance, and landscape management. Contracts are typically awarded through competitive solicitation processes without set-asides, indicating an emphasis on technical capability and service reliability over socioeconomic preferences. Pueblo Parks & Recreation operates under the City of Pueblo as a municipal department with jurisdiction over public parks and recreation districts throughout the city.
