Its core mission centers on preserving the structural integrity of town-owned buildings, particularly those serving as administrative and public service hubs. Strategic priorities include proactive facility maintenance, weather-resistant envelope repairs, and long-term asset sustainability, with an emphasis on preserving the town’s character while meeting modern building standards. Key programs revolve around exterior rehabilitation, roofing systems, and siding upgrades that enhance energy efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs. The agency primarily procures commercial and institutional building construction services, with a consistent pattern of awarding contracts for exterior infrastructure repairs and envelope restoration.
