4 R STARS

4 R STARS specializes in nutritional program support and commodity management, specifically focusing on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Their technical expertise involves managing alternative reimbursement models for program sponsors who lack the specialized facilities required to receive and store USDA commodities. They facilitate the transition from physical commodity distribution to cash-in-lieu-of-commodity systems, ensuring that sponsors receive specific cash values to maintain nutritional standards for meals served. The company maintains a highly concentrated agency relationship with the Department of Agriculture (USDA). Their work for this agency is centered on the administration and support of food assistance programs, specifically addressing logistical and infrastructural gaps in the commodity supply chain for CACFP sponsors.
