CALIFORNIOS MANUFACTURING LLC

Californios Manufacturing LLC specializes in the precision manufacturing of fasteners, including screws, bolts, nuts, rivets, and washers, primarily for defense applications. The company leverages advanced metal forming, threading, and heat-treatment processes to produce high-integrity components that meet stringent military specifications. Their technical expertise includes material selection for corrosion resistance, dimensional tolerancing per ASME B18 standards, and batch traceability for mission-critical hardware. The firm’s focus on small- to medium-volume production suggests a niche capability in custom or low-volume fastener solutions, often required for specialized military equipment where off-the-shelf components are unsuitable. The contractor has delivered products exclusively to the Department of Defense, indicating a focused relationship with defense supply chains. Their work supports ground systems, aerospace platforms, and potentially naval assemblies where precision fasteners are essential for structural integrity and operational reliability. The absence of civilian agency contracts suggests a tightly aligned market position within defense logistics and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) ecosystems. The primary NAICS code 332722 reflects a specialization in the fabrication of standardized metal fasteners, positioning the company within the broader defense industrial base for mechanical subsystems. This vertical is critical for supply chain resilience, particularly in contexts requiring qualified vendor status for DoD-specified hardware. The company’s market role is that of a tiered supplier, enabling system integrators and prime contractors to maintain inventory control and component consistency. Californios Manufacturing LLC operates as a small business (2L structure) from Mission Viejo, California, with no federal certifications on record. While lacking formal small business designations like 8(a) or HUBZone, its geographic location places it within a key defense manufacturing corridor. The firm’s limited but targeted contract history reflects a lean, specialized operation serving specific defense needs through precision manufacturing rather than broad-scale production.
