FORWARD ELECTRIC INC

FORWARD ELECTRIC INC specializes in the manufacturing and integration of computer terminal systems and peripheral equipment, with demonstrated experience delivering specialized hardware solutions for federal agencies. Their technical expertise centers on the design, procurement, and deployment of secure, mission-critical computing peripherals, including systems like the Johnson Controls C-Cure9000 access control platform, which integrates biometric authentication, card-based entry, and centralized security management. The company’s capabilities align with physical security infrastructure modernization, emphasizing interoperability, ruggedized hardware deployment, and compliance with federal security standards for sensitive environments. Their focus on peripheral equipment manufacturing suggests a niche in supplying tailored hardware components that support integrated security and IT ecosystems, particularly where reliability and controlled access are paramount. The contractor has delivered solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs, indicating a track record in supporting veteran-facing facilities with secure access and identity management infrastructure. Their work likely involves equipping VA medical centers, administrative buildings, and residential facilities with hardened terminal systems that meet federal cybersecurity and physical access control requirements. INDUSTRY FOCUS centers on NAICS 334118, which encompasses the production of computer terminals and peripherals—specifically, hardware designed for controlled environments requiring durable, low-latency, and secure input/output interfaces. This positions FORWARD ELECTRIC INC as a specialized supplier within the federal security and IT hardware supply chain, serving agencies that require custom or regulated computing peripherals rather than commercial off-the-shelf solutions. As a small business structured as a 2L entity based in Monona, Wisconsin, FORWARD ELECTRIC INC operates with a lean, focused model. The company holds no formal government certifications but maintains a regional footprint aligned with federal procurement needs in the Midwest. Their market positioning reflects a niche supplier of mission-specific hardware, emphasizing precision manufacturing and integration over broad-scale IT services.
