JAMES D. KEASLER TRUST

The James D. Keasler Trust provides specialized support for agricultural conservation and risk management initiatives. Their core capabilities center on the implementation of the Conservation Reserve Program, focusing on the protection of long-term food production capabilities, the reduction of soil erosion, the improvement of water quality, and the creation of wildlife habitats. Additionally, the entity manages agricultural financial stability programs, including Price Loss Coverage and Agriculture Risk Coverage, which provide revenue and price loss payments to eligible producers when crop revenues fall below established benchmarks. The entity works exclusively with the Department of Agriculture, where it supports a variety of land stewardship and producer safety net programs. Their relationship with the agency is characterized by the execution of conservation-based land management and the administration of risk mitigation payments for farmers.
