MICROWAVE POWER PRODUCTS, INC.

Microwave Power Products, Inc. specializes in the design, manufacturing, and repair of high-precision electronic components and vacuum electron devices, with deep expertise in traveling wave tubes (TWTs), microwave power amplifiers, and specialized electronic subsystems for defense and transportation systems. The company delivers mission-critical components for radar, electronic warfare, and navigation systems, including repair and sustainment of complex aerospace-grade vacuum tubes and high-frequency assemblies. Their technical capabilities span RF engineering, vacuum envelope fabrication, cathode technology, and precision assembly of components subjected to extreme thermal and electromagnetic environments, ensuring reliability in harsh operational conditions. The contractor maintains a strong, consistent relationship with the Department of Defense, providing sustainment and component manufacturing for electronic warfare systems such as the AN/ALQ-184 TWT and other classified avionics platforms. They also support the Department of Transportation on infrastructure-related electronic asset maintenance, particularly for systems supporting national air traffic and navigation infrastructure. Their work is characterized by a focus on legacy system modernization and obsolescence management, where custom component replacement and reverse engineering are essential. Their primary industry focus lies in other electronic component manufacturing and precision equipment repair, serving defense, aerospace, and transportation sectors with niche capabilities in vacuum electron devices and high-reliability RF subsystems. They are positioned as a specialized supplier for systems requiring extreme durability, thermal stability, and electromagnetic performance beyond commercial-grade standards. As a small business structured as a 2L entity based in Palo Alto, California, Microwave Power Products, Inc. operates without federal certifications but maintains a focused presence in the government electronics supply chain, leveraging its engineering depth and proximity to Silicon Valley’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem to serve high-integrity government programs.
