PROTO PRODUCTIONS INC

Proto Productions Inc. specializes in the custom design and manufacturing of high-precision display cases, partitions, shelving, and lockers for federal installations, with a strong focus on museum-grade cabinetry and secure storage solutions. Their technical expertise includes precision wood and glass fabrication, climate-controlled enclosure systems, anti-vandal finishes, and custom hardware integration tailored to archival and exhibit standards. The company delivers turnkey solutions for sensitive collections, ensuring UV-filtering glazing, tamper-resistant latching, and structural integrity for high-traffic public spaces. Their ability to produce bespoke museum cabinets and interactive display stations for federal agencies reflects a deep understanding of conservation-grade materials and exhibition design requirements. Proto Productions maintains consistent relationships with the Department of the Interior, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs, delivering specialized display systems for cultural heritage, military history, and veteran recognition programs. For the Interior, they fabricate contact station displays and exhibit casework for national parks and heritage sites; for the Defense Department, they produce secure, archival-quality museum cabinets for historical artifacts; and for the Veterans Affairs department, they create dignified veteran display cabinets designed for ceremonial and educational use. The contractor’s primary focus is in NAICS 337215, which encompasses the manufacturing of custom showcases, partitions, and lockers—work that blends industrial craftsmanship with federal compliance standards for public access and artifact protection. Their niche lies in serving cultural, historical, and institutional markets requiring durable, aesthetically refined, and security-conscious fixtures. They also support related finishing work under NAICS 238390, demonstrating flexibility in on-site installation and integration. As a small business structured as a 2L entity based in Addison, Illinois, Proto Productions operates without federal certifications but maintains a focused presence in the government procurement market through direct manufacturing and delivery of mission-critical display systems. Their geographic proximity to federal facilities in the Midwest enables responsive logistics and on-site coordination for complex installations.
