RMIT University

RMIT University provides advanced multidisciplinary research and development across a broad spectrum of scientific and technical domains. Their core capabilities include cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, with a specific focus on secure deep learning inference and output privacy mitigations. They possess deep expertise in quantum technologies, including the development of quantum sensors for biological monitoring and the integration of sensors with quantum computing systems. In materials science and engineering, they specialize in laser additive manufacturing for high-strength alloy steels, the design of metal lattice metamaterials with sound-absorbing properties, and the creation of low-dimensional perovskites for multifunctional memory devices. Additionally, they conduct research into sustainable infrastructure through biochar-based pavement modifications and explore the socio-technical impacts of digital economies and social media safety. The organization works most frequently with the Australian Research Council, delivering high-level academic and applied research projects across the physical, digital, and social sciences. They also maintain a professional relationship with the Office of National Intelligence.
