This solicitation is for a Breech Cap Forging per drawing 12901193, Rev New, used on the 120mm Cannon, that will subsequently result in a requirements contract with an estimated order quantity of 1,500 each over a three (3) year period (approximately 500 each for each of the base, first option, and second option years.) FOB is destination. A Government First Article Test is required. ********The estimated issue date is December 15,2011.******** The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small-business concerns. In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Certifications and Representations (ORCA) must be current. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under ACC-Warren (ACC-WRN) (WVA). CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet.
