The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is seeking a Grenadier Sighting System (GSS) to replace existing day/night sights for the M320/M320A1 Grenade Launcher Module. The system must enable forces to effectively engage targets from 100 to 350 meters during the day and 100 to 200 meters at night. The government intends to utilize a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for an initial advanced developmental phase, eventually down-selecting to a single vendor for full production based on best value trade-off procedures. The procurement process included a series of draft requests for proposals and industry days to refine requirements and assess vendor capabilities. Key requirements for potential contractors include maintaining an active registration in the System for Award Management, possessing a valid accounting system for cost-reimbursement items, and obtaining necessary certifications for controlled distribution documents. Foreign vendors must also provide valid export licenses to access technical manuals and firing tables.
