Full Description

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for specific weapon maintenance support. The intended source is Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Inc. CAGE 0BT64, 5926 Miller Lane, Christiana, TN 37037-5612. The proposed action is contractor maintenance support of the M107 Sniper Rifle used by individual war fighters. The M107 Sniper Rifle is proprietary to Barrett Firearms. As the original equipment manufacturer, Barrett Firearms is the only source that can maintain the M107 Sniper Rifle. The intent of this proposed action is to add $105,000 in funding to be used exclusively for the maintenance of the M107 Sniper Rifle. This funding will be added to existing contract W52H09-04-C-0192 via contract modification. Estimated issued date of this proposed contract modification is 18 June 2010. This modification will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 AND 5.201, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. There is no Technical Data available for the above items.
