This solicitation, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech, seeks firm-fixed-price quotes for the repair of Main Computer Units. The contract requires the contractor to adhere to specific operational and functional requirements, including strict adherence to required Repair Turnaround Times (RTAT). Failure to meet these timelines will result in a price reduction of 1% per asset per month, which will be settled via a reconciliation modification following final inspection and acceptance. The contractor is responsible for all inspection and testing according to original manufacturer specifications and must comply with MIL-STD-130 for marking and MIL-STD 2073 for packaging. Shipping costs should not be included as the government utilizes its own shipping system. Additionally, the government will only consider authorized distributors of the original manufacturer, and any changes in design or part numbers must be approved by the Contracting Officer using a specific coding system.
