Small Arms and Aerial Range Specification This is not a request for proposals. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco located at the International Airport in San Francisco, CA is searching for sources that can provide literature, plans, etc. in response to this announcement within 30 days of this announcement. The Government is searching for sources that can provide a range and services for shooting pistol, shotgun, rifle, and machine gun. The range will be used for both initial qualifications and recurrent training proficiency requirements. In addition, the government is searching for a source that can support aerial gunnery training that includes firing machine guns from a helicopter. The government would consider separate range locations for each weapon based upon the unique range requirements for each weapon. Any vendors with the capability to provide all or any of the services listed above should respond to this notice. Ideally, the range facility should be located within 100 miles of San Francisco, CA. Any potential range facility should be certified and be compliant with existing industry-standard safety standards. All companies that can meet the specification are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company literature, brochures, or any other information that demonstrates that the specifications can be met.
