Full Description

TITLE: Procurement for (10) each X26E Black/Black Grip Plates Tasers w/o Holster, (20) each X26E Yellow/Black Grip Plates Tasers w/o Holster, (2) each X3W ECD with Blade-Tech Holster (Right), (1) each X3W ECD with Blade-Tech Holster (Left) and (20) each 25' Live Smart Cartridge. Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Moffett Field, CA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Aardvark Inc., 1935 Puddingstone Drive, La Verne, CA 91750, a small business, for the procurement of X26E Black/Black Grip Plates Tasers and X26E Yellow/Black Grip Plates Tasers, without Holster, X3W ECD Blade-Tech Holster (Right), X3W ECD with Blade-Tech Holster (Left) and 25' Live Smart Cartridge for Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) (i), Soliciting from a Single Source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 453998 - All Other Miscellaneous Store Retailers (except Tobacco Stores) with a size standard of 7.0 million dollars. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 15 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. All responses must be provided no later than 1100 am PDT 29 March 2013. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
