This is amended to post questions and answers. Questions and Answers: 1. I may have overlooked in the bid package where it may have indicated the annual usage. It looked like orders would be for 840 cases at a time. Is there any way to tell how often or how many times in a year we would expect to see that order? Answer: The numbers are just estimates but it equals about 70 cases per month or 35 every two weeks. NIH has issued Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. NIHOD2009111 for furnishing 100 % Recycled Paper. The NSN number and estimated annual quantities are provided in the IFB. AbilityOne products are required for all items unless the items are not on the Mandatory Products List for AbilityOne. The government requires delivery to be made within 7 calendar days from the date the contractor receives an order. The anticipated period of performance for the contract is a base twelve month period, plus two (2) twelve month option periods for a total not to exceed period of thirty six months. Bidders whose bids are determined to meet the government's requirements set forth in the IFB will be invited to participate in an online reverse auction in which bidders will submit their bids online via a service provider. This procurement is a total 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 322211 and the size standard is 500 employees. All interested small business vendors under NAICS 322211 are encouraged to submit a bid. Bids are due on August 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the internet at the FedBizOpps website. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the bidder's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for amendments (if any). Potential bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
