DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure a 1000 gallon fuel tank. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This is a total set aside for small business and the associated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) number is 332420. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this solicitation, interested parties must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) prior to close of this solicitation. https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The vendors SAM registration must be in an - ACTIVE status prior to award. Vendors must ensure that the above NAICS codes are listed on their SAM registration. COST PROPOSALS: The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Offerors must submit proposals to Cristina.p.mesen@uscg.mil by 1600 PST June 28th, 2023 EVALUATION CRITERIA: The government will award a firm price contract resulting from this request for quote (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The lowest priced quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability, if it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified.
